Terms of use

These terms apply when you use this website or order from The Upahar Box. By placing an order, you agree to them, together with our Shipping, Returns and refunds and Privacy policies.

Orders and prices

• Prices are in Indian rupees. Delivery and personalisation charges are shown before you pay.
• An order is confirmed once payment is received, or for corporate orders, once our invoice or quote is accepted. Invoice orders are due within 15 days.
• If an item is out of stock or a price was shown wrongly, we'll contact you before making anything, and you can choose a replacement or a full refund.
• Discount codes have their own conditions, can't be exchanged for cash, and one code applies per order unless stated.

Personalisation

• The on-screen preview is a guide. We send a proof before printing; please check spelling, layout and colours carefully, because we print what you approve.
• Printed colours can look slightly different from your screen, and handmade or natural materials such as wood, leather and brass vary a little from piece to piece. These aren't faults.
• You confirm that you own, or have permission to use, any name, logo, image or text you send us, and that it doesn't break anyone's rights or the law.
• We may refuse to print anything offensive, hateful, misleading or that we believe infringes someone else's rights, and refund you if so.
• We may show photos of finished pieces in our portfolio only with your permission, and never with a company logo unless the company agrees.

Your account

Keep your sign-in email or phone secure. Please give accurate contact and delivery details; we aren't responsible for delays caused by a wrong address.

Using the website

The designs, photos and text on this site belong to The Upahar Box or are used with permission. Please don't copy them, misuse the site, or try to break its security.

Our responsibility

We make every order with care. If something goes wrong, we'll replace or refund it as set out in our Returns and refunds policy. Apart from what the law doesn't allow us to limit, our responsibility for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it, and we aren't responsible for delays caused by couriers, weather, strikes or other events outside our control.

Disputes

If you're unhappy, please email info@theupaharbox.com first; most problems are quickly fixed. These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts in Bengaluru, Karnataka have jurisdiction.

Changes

We may update these terms. The version on this page when you place an order is the one that applies to it.
